A car dealer approached us recently asking for help designing an image to commemorate its 100th anniversary next year.This dealer had started selling cars out of the local general store in 1911 and has been at it ever since. That’s a long time!

But they were stuck.

最近有一家車商找上我們,想委託設計明年度歡慶100週年的形象圖。這家車商從1911年就開始銷售車子到現在,真的是老字號啊!
但是,他們也有卡住的時候。

What they’d hoped for was an image that would convey three character attributes of their company — integrity, resilience and commitment.These are wonderful qualities.Problem is, any one of them is almost impossible to convey in a graphic (quick! what does resilience look like?), not to mention all three.

他們原先希望這款形象圖能傳達出象徵公司的三個意義:誠實、活力、信守承諾,這些都顯示出他們的優質特色。問題是,這三個意義都很難分別用圖像傳達出來(來!想想「活力」會是長什麼樣子啊?),更何況是三個結合一起… Continue reading

三太養生鐵板燒-舌尖與眼波流轉間的小奢華

昨天真是個美好的週末夜晚,老媽帶我們去吃價格有點高級的三太養生鐵板燒,它坐落在信義路四段的一個小巷內,招牌和入口都不顯眼,當你踏進去,好像進入一個隱密的私人招待所用餐。裝潢都是採用木頭,約莫有三個大鐵板燒台,但是都隔間隔得很好,輕鬆聊天不會吵到別桌,你也看不到別桌有什麼人,那種隔間方式其實滿家庭的,要不是服務生一直不斷加水,我還差點以為是到了哪間民間日式豪宅用餐。這張圖中的菜,其實叫做養生饅頭,但視覺與口感都會讓你以為是西點,非常鬆軟好嚼,表面的料(或許有花生粉?)則是非常香。

過年前,因為準備要跳槽,員工旅遊+尾牙+春酒合併一起在年後舉辦,就算前任老闆可能不介意,我心想還是別出席好。但聽著別人討論春酒啊~尾牙啊~不免些許落寞啊,恰好不久前加入的CC3社群舉辦了春酒美食團,想說上次因為工作錯過了攝影團,這次要吃好吃的,一定要參加,就拉了A小姐一起去。 Continue reading
